At Southeastern Building we value what real estate professionals bring to the table for our buyers. We believe that all buyers have the right to be represented, and we will continue to offer competitive and transparent compensation to make the homebuying process smooth and accessible to all who wish to achieve it.

With the new National Association of REALTORS®, NAR, settlement now in effect it is important that all buyers and sellers know and understand some key terms that could be relevant when purchasing a new home from Southeastern.

  • Southeastern Building encourages buyers to have representation when purchasing a home.
  • Commission is fully negotiable and not set by law.
  • A buyer’s agreement is required when touring homes with your agent, Southeastern trusts that each homebuyer and agent have committed their own due diligence in that matter. Per the NAR settlement, when visiting one of our open houses and speaking with our agent for general information an agreement is not required.
  • A Southeastern Sales Agent is available to discuss competitive compensation, in full transparency.
